Did I miss something?
O.K. I haven't been on the wine, yet.
Did I miss something? Maureen sent out a "Reply all" e-mail that said she and Kim were open to suggestions, though it had to move along quickly and the planning of the picnic would continue. Then Kim Blogged that they're not planning any formal event. Which is is it? After reading Kim's Blog it sounds like not everyone wanted to play at her field, so she took HER ball and went home. (Lots of sincerity there.) For anyone who wants to pick up the ball, and plan a Class of '87 picnic for Saturday, I will help in any way I can. However, from this distance it might only be financial. I'm up for anything that appeals to the most amount of classmates. Lots of people are talking Hammo. I guess per Danny's blog below, contact him. For those of you who liked the Clinton Town Beach idea, please consider participating in the picnic no matter where it's held. I'm not sure if my family can make it to CT in June. Yet, meeting everyone's kids would definitely make the weekend more worth while.
For whoever took the time to delete the FIRST time I wrote something similar to this, I'll be sure to cut and paste this in a file so I can make sure it stays posted.
Cherise.
To whoever keeps deleting this. KINDLY e-mail me. Once you make a valid point w/ me, I will then consider deleting it myself. cheriseinsavga@msn.com

A personal attack on a 'blog' is so classless and non-appropriate that I am actaully embarrassed for you. This is probably not the place for you to work out 'issues' from 20 years ago!!!! Its pathetic!!! I'm not the one who erased your 'blog' but I know I'm not the only one who was glad to see it gone. And no I'm not going to signed this because who needs to be attacked publicly by someone with you're judgement!? NOT ME!!
I don't see anything about issues that happened twenty years ago on here. If you e-mailed me personally it wouldn't be public. So, you're judgement to attack me, is better? III am however, "Respecting your comment, input and suggestion."
Don't you think enough is enough.
All this back and forth over what? Classmates getting together for a picnic at their hometown "Town Beach". One would think after 20 years someone would have grown up by now.
Frankly, I am tired of reading about this everytime I go on this site and I am sure other classmates must feel the same way.
Seems to be that you're the one keeping it going too, No? I DO agree the back and forth is ridiculous and I DO want things to move forward. That is why I am asking you to e-mail me. You seem so mad/angry w/ me. Do III owe YOU an apology from 20 years ago? Again, not sure where you're getting that from. Perhaps I can explain? On another note, the Hammo. class picnic is really coming along. I've received lots of names of classmates who are attending and participating. Do you have any ideas or suggestions you'd like to share?
Trying to work this out w/ you.

If you think I am Kim, you are mistaken. There are other classmates that don't agree with what you have been doing. Kudos to Wendy, Maura, MoPo and Kim for initiating our class reunion. They are all classy people and are doing a great job.
It was Wendy and Maura who initiated the reunion.
I NEVER thought you are/were Kim.
If it makes you feel any better, I have tried to contact Maureen to apologize. (I called Wendy and e-mailed Maura.) Does anyone have her number? If so, please e-mail it to me.
Again, I'm trying to work this out w/ you. Just e-mail me.
I could be WRONG. I don't think there are two picnics or a family day.
However, we have had a lot of interest, input and suggestions for the class picnic which includes everyone's kids. AKA, "Up w/ Hammo." If you are reading this and you have not received an UWH update, e-mail me. I will forward you the latest which has a list of classmates attending and everyones ideas.
Thanks.
Cherise
Cherise and Dano thanks for the hard work with the Hamo picinic. Everyone needs to stop the bad blogs. Cherise don't play into their childish games. Let's all play nice.
To the person thanking me, I appreciate it. To the anonymous bloggers calling people "classless", I'll tell you what. A few people have taken the trouble of airing their opinions to me without doing it on this board because, well maybe they don't want to get caught up in the nonsense that's finding it's way here. I respect that. But if you want to have an opion and air it on this board then let us know who you are. To post these criticisms on here anonymously is just chickenshit. I'll stand up for Cherise here because maybe her posts have been over the top or a bit emotional but at least she's signing her name to it.
You people are awful brave hiding behind the curtain of the anonymous post.

Thanks anon. #6
THANKS Dan!
I still continue to see negative digs in the Hammo emails....so are we moving on or are the little remarks about being appalling parents, etc going to continue?
With comments like that it IS hard for me to help myself. So honestly, they'll probably continue.
If my sarcasm offends you, I will gladly take you off the "Hammo. Huskies" list so you do not receive the updates.
Again, for like the 3rd/4th time, just e-mail me.

BTW, I am really close to narrowing you down. Once I do, I might just have to go PUBLIC Ha!
Cherise ~
I'm not sure why you feel you owe me an apology, but you can certainly contact me. Work e-mail is best - mtranquilli@clintonpublic.org - E-mail has definitely not been boring lately!
~ Maureen
OMG! WOW! Maureen, really....I should learn to be as forgiving as you. I HAVE your e-mail addresses. However, as we've seen here, words get misconstrued and I did not want to sound anything but sincere. Can you please e-mail your phone number. Or, call on your commute home or something. (615) 943-6129
Truly, thank-you for your positive comment.
