Reunion Golf Details Fri 6/29 at Lyman

Hi All,
Bugg, Pellegrini and I have been able to organize 18-holes of golf (not mini golf Dalton) prior to reunion at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, CT (see below link).

Hopefully the tee-times (10:30 start) and cost ($60, includes cart) will work out for you that expressed initial interest?! (Customary to arrive a minimum of 1/2hr prior)

Lyman has a driving range so you can warm-up too.

As we get closer to the actual date (6/29), I’ll also need you to confirm with me by email your participation (by 6/15).

We are also short a couple of bodies, so feel free to invite someone.

End time change

Hey everyone,
I just spoke with our contact at Waters Edge and asked if we could extend our reunion and she said that we can have our room for an additional half hour and she also mentioned their lounge will be open until 2. I know that in the invites that went out to everyone and also on this blog site, the time has been listed as 7:30-11:30. And, not sure if it's been said before, but if weather is good we will be outside for cocktails from 7:30-8:30. All for now...

Getting close...

It's been a long time since I've posted, partly because I've had trouble signing in. For others that may be having issues as well, it seems the username has changed to my email address, wendyjoanis@comcast.net and the password remains the same, huskies.

So we're a little over a month away from our 20th! I think we've done a good job of tracking most people down and thanks to everyone for helping to locate classmates. However, we're still waiting on quite a few rsvps/ticket sales. At the beginning of June we have to finalize menu choices and settle up with the Waters Edge so it's important that our count is close. For those of you that have responded and sent your money in, you are all set. We will not be mailing out tickets because of the expense and we figured it was just easier to check people off at the door on Friday night. We are creating picture nametags for those that have purchased tix.

I'm going to try to email people directly that we haven't heard from. If you know anyone who has not rsvpd at this point, get on them. Our reunion is going to be a blast and they'll be so sorry if they miss it!!!

Does anyone remember a time capsule???

Hi Everyone,
A couple of people emailed that they vaguely remember a time capsule at Eliot. Personally I have no memory of it, but that doesn't mean much. We've been looking into it and would love input if anyone remembers who might have been involved, teachers, students, ANYTHING??? Also...Don't forget to respond to the reunion invite. To date we have about 70 people who have responded to the mailing. Please let us know if you plan on attending the reunion. If you know that you are or are not coming please let us know so we can plan accordingly.
