the potential picnic...

As it turns out, most of the people that were hoping to chip in for me to bring dishes from the restaurant are not sure if the are able to attend the reunion at all and ... I regret to inform the rest that I will definately not be able to attend the picnic either as we will be headed for our family vacation early Saturday morning. I am very sorry if anyone was depending on that. They can still call the restaurant and order things - I'll make sure you get a good deal, I know the owner -wink wink...

In the mean time I just got news from Noah the Chris Houchin is in town & playing at the Iron Chef tomorrow night - it promises to be a nice little reunion of its own! Hope to see some familiar faces!

Great to see you, Gayle and Maura! You both look great. I'm lucky to work in Clinton and see alot of our classmates. Please come to the reunion and have fun!

Anyone for Golf on Fri 6/29?

Hi All,
Looking to see who is interested in playing golf?

Steve Bugg, Bryan Pellegrinni and I (Neil Dunn) are trying to organize a golf outing PRIOR to the reunion on that Friday 6/29.

Currently, we are trying to obtain details, e.g. location, cost, available tee-times, etc. in the shoreline area.
However, please note that tee-times may only be available during the morning, and not sure who is able to take time off? (more details will follow when available)

Pictures Please

Please be sure to send in any photos that you want included in a slideshow for the reunion. We are planning to scan the pictures onto a DVD that will playing during the reunion. It should be a lot of fun to look at pictures of ourselves from kindergarten to senior year! To date we haven't received too many pictures and we really want this to represent the entire class (or as close to it as possible). Scholarship

Hey gang,

I just received an email from Ginger Ramos and she had a great idea, and that of a scholarship created by our class. I think it's a fine idea. I think we have roughly 150 classmates, probably around half of which are in contact with this blog, maybe more. At an individual donation of $5 or $10 annually we could probably raise a nice little scholarship for a deserving Morgan student. It would be a nice way to give back to the community and help someone get to college.

I know we all have our financial issues but for basically the cost of a meal or two at a fast food restaurant we could do some serious good. Who knows, perhaps it could lead to other classes following in our footsteps, so to speak. Anyway I'm putting this out there to get some feedback from all of you, whether it's positive or negative or if you have any further suggestions. So let's hear what you have to say! Feel free to keep it anonymous if you like but no flaming. If you wish to email me directly, that's fine as well.
